Established in 1999 as an exclusive day spa facility, dh Spa is a sanctuary for the senses. It offers a comprehensive menu of nurturing body and beauty treatments performed by a team of highly trained therapists.
Many of our treatments have been inspired by the timeless healing and beauty traditions from around the Indonesian archipelago. These include our own interpretations of the Flower Bath, Volcanic Mud Body Treatment and many other rejuvenating rituals.
All products used at dh Spa are made from 100% natural ingredients that are prepared prior to each treatment. We utilize local products such as fresh fruit as well as indigenous herbs, spices and plant materials.
dh Spa also uses essential oils imported from France that are blended at the spa to create our own signature oils. A choice of 7 different fragrant oils are available, each one filled with unique healing properties to soothe the body, mind and spirit.

dh Spa offers complimentary transportation to guests staying within the Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta and Sanur areas. For guests staying in Ubud or Tanah Lot, an additional transportation fee will applies.

Spa Facility: dh Spa is a two storey treatment facility set within a tropical garden. It has been designed to celebrate Bali’s artistic heritage and is a serene environment to experience a naturally inspired body or beauty ritual.
The facility features a reception and 8 air-conditioned double treatment rooms complete with bathtub, locker and dressing amenities. There is also a separate salon for traditional hair treatments.
Parking area are available for 3 cars, more than 3 cars are also available to be parked along the main road of By Pass Ngurah Rai street and Puri Bendesa street.
Therapist : All therapists at dh Spa are female and highly experienced in the art of traditional healing. Each therapist has completed an intense training program under the guidance of a professional spa trainer and a Japanese Guest Relations Officer to qualify as a practitioner. Our therapists adhere to international spa etiquette. They also speak basic Japanese and English.
Personalized Hotel Transfers: Guests will be personally picked up from their hotel and escorted to dh Spa by a driver and spa receptionist. The spa receptionist will explain the treatment and products in detail as well as answer any questions on the way to the spa
Spa Hospitality: All guests are welcomed to dh Spa with a cold face towel and a refreshing cup of cinnamon tea. Guests are also served herbal tea and cookies during a flower bath or traditional hair treatment.
Signature Oils dh Spa has created it own blend of 7 signature oils. Each can be used in conjunction with a massage treatment to deal with a wide range of health ailments and support guests’ ever-changing emotional state of mind.
Eucalyptus This is an excellent decongestant for colds containing anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Eucalyptus is ideal for anyone suffering from a cold, flu, cough, respiratory disorder, neuralgia, high temperature, rheumatism and diarrhea or inflammation of the bladder. It also relieves aches and pains, promotes oxygen exchange and is generally a good tonic.
Peppermint Aids digestion and has anti-spasmodic properties. Used as a stomach remedy as it stimulates digestion, relieves menstrual pain and settles upset tummies. Peppermint is also used as a decongestant and combats acne and bad breathe. However, peppermint should be avoided by pregnant women and anyone suffering from epilepsy or convulsions.
Lavender This is the most popular and versatile essential oil. It activates the immune system and has extraordinary relaxation powers. Lavender is good for first aid and can be used to soothe and heal irritations as well as rejuvenate cells. It also helps with infectious diseases, states of debility, scar tissue, heart conditions, hysteria, dermatitis, convalescence, burns, rheumatism, flu, high blood pressure, stomach ailments, indigestion, bad breath, conjunctivitis, inflammation of the bladder, sunburn, mosquito and insect bites.
Tea Rose This is an excellent oil choice that is used to treat various health problems unique only to women. Tea Rose promotes circulation and strengthens the liver. It has balancing properties to regenerate cells, strengthen capillaries and alleviate the effects of anxiety, depression, hangovers, circulatory disturbances, menopause, frigidity, uterine problems and dry skin.
Jasmine Has sedating properties and is used to counteract long-term anxiety other stress related problems. Jasmine can also be used to relieve cough symptoms, depression, maternity stress, menstrual pain and bronchitis.
Sandalwood Has a pleasant fragrance that is liked by both men and women. Sandalwood can be used to address symptoms such as a cough, sore throat, skin infections, cystitis and depression. It is an effective kidney tonic and is used to soothe cracked or dry skin. Sandalwood has antiseptic properties and balances the adrenals making it useful in times of stress and exhaustion.
Ylan-Ylan Ylan-Ylan can cause headaches in high doses. This oil is an aphrodisiac and can be used in conjunction with hypertension and to counteract a low libido, depression and anxiety. It is also a great cardiac tonic and can balance combination skin types. Ylan-Ylan should not be applied to inflamed or irritated skin.

A. Spa Treatments
Volcanic Mud Body Treatment (90 minutes) This exclusive treatment begins with a gentle foot bath, body wash and a traditional Balinese massage. Volcanic mud is then generously applied to the entire body to give the skin a new lease of life. This mineral enriched treatment prevents wrinkles, cleans the pores and replenishes lost nutrients. The pampering concludes with a warm aromatic flower bath.
Seaweed Body Pack (120 minutes) This nurturing package has been created for pure relaxation and rejuvenation. It commences with flower foot bath and continues with Balinese traditional massage. A seaweed body masque is then applied to naturally exfoliate the skin and encourage cell regeneration. Freshly blended carrot is then rubbed into the skin for a hydrating effect before a leisurely soak in an aromatherapy flower. A nourishing application of lavender body lotion brings this treatment to an end.
Lavender Body Treatment (120 minutes) This rejuvenating package is all about taking the time for some well-deserved personal indulgence. The journey includes a lavender flower foot bath, body wash and Balinese traditional massage followed by an exfoliating body scrub and a lavish application of lavender yoghurt to moisturize the skin. A warm aromatic flower bath finishes this treatment.
dh Spa Rhapsody (120 minutes) Indulge with a jasmine foot bath and body wash. Then feel your mind drift with a relaxing one hour session of aromatherapy massage. A refreshing jasmine body scrub is applied to clean and stimulate the skin followed by a nourishing facial. Take pleasure in a long soak in an aromatherapy flower bath concluding with an enriching application of body lotion.
Avocado Skin Care (120 minutes) Soak your feet in an indulging lavender foot bath, followed by a body wash and Balinese traditional massage. An avocado body masque is then applied to give the skin a radiant glow followed by a nourishing facial treatment. A leisurely soak in an aromatherapy bath brings this treatment to a luxurious conclusion.

C. Miracle Slimming Miracle Slimming is the most popular line of treatments at dh Spa using the renowned Estebel 1833 Natural Slimming Products from France. Guests can choose from a Total Body Slimming treatment or alternatively focus on specific areas of concern. The body is measured before each treatment followed by a Milk Flower Bath and Warming Body Massage. Selected slimming creams are then applied to increase cell metabolism, reduce stored fat, tighten skin and improve circulation. Miracle Slimming guarantees a reduction of 3-4 cm on treated areas of the body.

Seaweed Facial (60 minutes) Rejuvenating facial using seaweed products to exfoliate the skin and infuse vitamins and anti-aging nutrients. This therapy includes deep cleansing, a scrub, relaxing face massage, mask and final application of re-hydrating moisturizer.
Coconut Hair Treatment (60 minutes) An exclusive hair and scalp treatment that begins with a stimulating shampoo and application of rejuvenating cream. A traditional neck and shoulder massage is performed to relax the scalp muscles and increase blood circulation. Hair is left with a lustrous shine.
Shirodara Healing Treatment (60 minutes) Indulge with the ultimate in personal relaxation as you take pleasure in the VATA of the Ayurweda. This is also known as ‘the science of life’ and is an ancient healing tradition from India.
Signature Treatment Sense of Ayurwedic by dh Spa (5 hours including lunch or dinner) This signature treatment begins with an aromatic foot bath. Then a Balinese traditional massage is performed using a pure essential oil diluted with base oil this is absorbed through the skin and carried directly to areas of muscle tension.
The journey continues with a natural body scrub to clean and stimulate the skin. A fresh fruit splash is then used to return moisture to the skin and is followed by an aromatic facial.
It is time to relax in an aroma flower bath. A rebalancing session of ancient Indian shirodara healing comes next, which increases blood circulation and helps improve eyesight and sleeping disorders.
This luxurious five hour treatment of pure pampering comes to an end with a delicious seafood lunch or dinner enjoyed at a café on the white sands of Jimbaran Bay.
