Long ago, on a step hillside between the mountain and the sea on the splendid island of Bali, there once lived a village of people renowned for their believe to God and their love for nature. They considered all the wild animals and plants to be their friends. In those days there were many deer and few people. And tigers never bothered the village. They lived together in peace and harmony.

Home to hundreds amazing animals representing more than 50 species, including some of rare and endangered species. Combining Balinese cultural ambiance with African Savannah, Bali Safari and Marine Park features the following exhibits featuring Sumatran elephant, Sumatran tiger, white tiger, leopard, komodo dragon and cheetah are just some of the fascinating creatures that can be seen at the Bali Safari and Marine Park.

The Tourism Object which is built on ± 40 hectares of land presents very unique modes in natural condition with the combination between free wildlife like in their natural habitat in one ecosystem with the touch of Balinese culture sense.

• Safari Journey
  Welcome to the incredible adventure into a wildlife world. Safari Journey incorporates the latest development in safari and open-zoo design, offering visitors a close encounter into the world of animals around the world.
  
  From the ride through roaming Sumatran Tiger and Elephants in the jungle of Sumatra to the hippos and cheetah in the lake Manyara, the Safari Journey offers a unique safari adventure to explore the life of hundreds of animals of more than 60 species. Jump in to our Tram to take a journey into the nature and see our wild animals roaming around the jungle and savannah. The jungle adventure await!
• Key Exhibits
  Our exhibits consist of all exotic species found across Asia. We feel strongly about our exhibit on being informative so that you as a visitor can learn all about the species while enjoying our beautifully themed exhibit.
  
  • Ranthambore
    Stroll along the road that leads you to the realm of Ranthambore, a recreation of an ancient Indian fort in the city of Rajashtan. Surrounded by the fortress relics, Ranthambore is the home of the majestic White Tigers that live in their truest habitat. Encounter the mighty beasts on ground or underwater. Ranthambore is a national park and tiger reserve in Rajasthan state of western India. It is named for the historic Ranthambore fortress, which lies within the national park. The park covers an area of 392 km2, famous for its Bengal Tiger population, and is one of India's Project Tiger reserves, which got its status as a National Park in 1981. In Bali Safari & Marine Park, we use this abandoned Fort concept to be the home of our beautiful White Tigers and Reptiles where we can get up-close and watch them swim.
  • Kampung Gajah (Elephant Village)
    Elephant Village or Kampung Gajah is a sanctuary for retired forestry and other working elephants. Here, visitors can observe the wonderful care these majestic creatures receive and can even watch them playing. Also, there is a free museum here dedicated to these noble beasts and three times daily, where there are an Elephant Conservation and Education Show. Twice daily you can witness the Elephants having fun in the bath, or at any time of the day by going on an elephant safari trek, riding high in the air like princes and rajahs once did. The 15-minutes trip takes visitors through dark rainforest canyons and across deep pools of water.
  • Komodo
    Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis) is the biggest lizard on earth and exists only on Komodo Island National Park, Nusa Tenggara Timur (East Nusa Tenggara). This animal is Indonesian Endemic animal and also the icon of the country. The Komodo's saliva has tens kinds of deadly bacteria used to kill its preys. Komodo can detect the smell of dead animal up to 9 km away.
  • Other Exhibits
    Bali Safari & Marine Park also has unique animals such as Leopard and Curik Bali. Leopards may be seen at any time of the day. Where persecuted they tend to be nocturnal and secretive, but in protected areas they are more diurnal, even being seen hunting in the bright sunlight. Leopards are very good climbers, being able to descend head first, unlike most cats who climb down hindquarters first. They are good swimmers but will not lie in the water like a tiger. Bali Safari & Marine Park has also been trusted as Curik Bali conservation, which will be released in Bali Barat National Park.

  • Elephant Back Safari-The Ultimate Elephant Experience in Bali
    Bali Safari & Marine Park’s Elephant Back Safari offers a breathtaking experience of riding one of the largest land mammal through an African-themed bushveld surrounded by wildebeests, zebras, and rhinoceros, roaming free. The informative rides with our trained and qualified mahout (handlers) allow you to learn more of these giants’ fascinating behavior, skills, intelligence, and their natural habitat
  • Elephant Trail
    Ride our range of animals and experience the feel as our ancestor have lived centuries ago. There's nothing better than to interact with the animals first hand by riding around the park on them. Elephants will treat you as if you were a Maharaja as you venture forth as they did in times gone by
  • Pony Ride
    For the youngsters there are snow-white ponies to carry little prince or princess around.
  • Camel Ride
    Camels, or as some people call them the Ships of the Desert, are waiting to take you on a short journey so you can see and get an idea what it would be like to cross the Sahara on one.
• Animal Shows
  Animal show will tell various animals' behaviors in Bali Safari & Marine Park. Some of them are intelligent animals that can be friend with human being like Elephant, Orang Utan, Cockatoo and Poodles until predator animals like Eagles.
  
  • Hanoman The Hero-Every Tuesday & Saturday at 6.00 pm
    It was in this epic setting that King Rahwana comes to power in a land known as Alengka. While King Rahwana had enormous wealth and power there was one prize that he did not have in his kingdom. It had come to the King's attention that in another land there existed a very beautiful woman by the name of Sita wife of Rama. King Rahwana successfully kidnaps the beautiful Sita leaving Rama and his lands sad and suffering great despair. Rama and Hanoman on their journey to rescue the forlorn Sita from King Rahwana, find the village people of Dandaka’s Forest, a community of peace loving people who have been corrupted by the evil giant soldiers of King Rahwana. Through his evil influence these people lived an unhappy existence based on drinking and gambling. These people had lost their roots and had lost touch with their true destinies. In response to the sadness of these evicted people, Rama decides to send in General Hanoman and his monkey soldiers, to attack the giant soldiers of King Rahwana and save the evicted people. Together Rama and Hanoman ride into battle upon their war elephants to do battle with the giant soldiers and King Rahwana. This is no doubt one of the most beautiful stories that has been told and retold over the centuries from father to son and mother to daughter. It lives as an epic in the wonderful culture of Bali and the Hindu religion. Please sit back and relax while our performers act out the tale for you.
  • Bird & Orangutan Shows
    Orangutan is one of large primata species in Kalimantan (Pongo pygmaeus pygmaeus) dan Sumatra (Pongo pygmaeus abelli). Among the primata group, Orangutan is the third most intellegent primata after Chimpanzee and Gorilla. Orangutans spend most of their times on the trees (Arboreal). Their basic food is fruit, green young leaves until bird eggs. Here in Bali Safari & Marine Park we will see the intellegence of trained Orangutans and birds.
  • Elephant Show
    Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) is an institution that deals extensively with ex-situ conservation of Sumatran Elephants. However, it has also established important and pioneering links between in-situ and ex-situ elephant conservation efforts. Since 1985, Taman Safari Indonesia has been involved in helping to solve the human - elephant conflict in Sumatra. One achievement was the establishment of Elephants Training Centre (ETCs). TSI started the first ETC in Way Kambas National Park in Lampung Province than established other ETCs in Riau and Aceh. There are now six Elephant Training Centre in Sumatra.

• Lobby Barong
  Get your pace ready on the entrance gate to a magnificent journey of the greatest Balinese culture, the Lobby Barong. The Barong Dance tells a legendary story of Calonarang, a white wizard, turned into a mystical creature to fight an endless battle against Rangda the dark forces that threaten mankind. The rhythm of this bamboo music welcoming the visitors at Lobby Barong which played by a couple of Rindik players. As one of the traditional music in Bali, Rindik is commonly played for Joged Bumbung dance performances. Nevertheless, this music is also presented in hotels' lobbies and restaurants too because the rhythm of this music make us relax although it also can be played in dynamic. You can enjoy this music while relaxing in Café Barong or visiting Bali Mynah exhibit, Fresh water aquarium, Leopards and Sinyulong Crocodiles.
• Hanoman Court
  A collection of statues of Rahwana and Hanoman, the god monkey from the story of Ramayana. Hanoman Court is a home to exotic birds and Orangutan encounters. It is the main stage for animal educational and entertainment shows.
• Bali Village
  To those of you who would like to learn Balinese dance, please don't miss this chance. We offer a chance to all visitors to try learning Balinese dance everyday, starting at 9.00 am until 17.00 (5 pm) at Bale Banjar, Bali Market, and it is free of charge. If you have a doubt to try, you can watch how the dancers practice a various Balinese dances. So, please join with our dancers to enjoy this special moment during your stay in Bali. If you visit Bali Safari & Marine Park on Sundays, don't forget to have lunch at Uma Restaurant while enjoying Balinese dance performances at 12.30 pm. We present a various Balinese dances by our professional dancers. Some of them are Puspanjali, Sekar Jagat, Cendrawasih, Tenun, Oleg Tamulilingan, and Baris dance.
  
  This performance is also presented every Sunday and National Holiday at Bale Banjar, Bali Market at 13.00 (1 pm). Like others Barong Dance performances, we present various Barong types, such as, Barong Ket, Barong Bangkung & Barong Macan. In special occasion, we often present Barong Ngelawang, which is accompanied by musical instruments and dancers to go around while dancing in Bali Safari & Marine Park area.
• Fun Zone
  Get wet and wild in our Waterpark of embark with Jungle Cruise to the amazing Amazon, Fun Zone extends your excitement with fantastic amusement for all ages.
  
  • Waterpark
    The crystal clear water in Waterpark will refresh you and your family. With two choices of pools for children and adults and some water slides, the Waterpark will give you more fun. You can play and swim in the non-stop streaming water pool. The exotic beach view from the distance can also be enjoyed while sliding from water slides. Besides, you can also spend your resting time while sunbathing in the afternoon. If you are willing to enjoy snack and soft drink, Waterpark is also facilitated with pool café, which is ready to serve you. So, you shouldn't miss to relax in Waterpark if you visit Bali Safari
  • Climbing Car
    This amusement ride is specialized for children between the ages of 3 to 10 years old. Completed with safety belt, your children will be safe to enjoy this amusement ride for about 3 minutes. Together with friends or alone, your children will feel like being on cable car going on the rail track.
  • Merry Go Round
    This amusement ride can be enjoyed by the visitors of all ages. It is commonly known as Carousel. You can enjoy this amusement ride with your family that you can choose to sit on the horse or cart freely.
  • Go Go Bouncer
    This amusement ride takes the form of an octopus with 12 tentacles, which all of them can move up and down in rhythm. You will feel like spinning and flying while moving up and down. Amusing if enjoyed together with family or friends. This amusement ride is available only for visitors over 10 years old. To be absolutely mentally and physically fit is necessary for you to really enjoy the ride.
  • Jungle Cruise
    This amusement ride is a boat which sails along the tame river while enjoying some animals in the forest along the way of the ride. Being on one boat with family or relatives will really be fun while enjoying calm nature accompanied with peaceful sound of water falling from the high cliff and some animals living in the wild. In the morning or in the afternoon is the best time to enjoy the ride because some animals seem to have more activities.
  • Spinning Coaster
    A very fantastic amusement ride to enjoy. You will spin while gliding from the top to the bottom. When you are on the top of the ride, do not miss to enjoy sea, mountain and river views. If you want to scream, it is the right ride to try.
  • Matter Horn
    This amusement ride can be played together with family. However, it is not suggested to take your under 5-year old children with you. You will be taken spinning faster and faster as if you were being taken into typhoon.
  • Flume Ride
    You will be a little bit wet if you would like to enjoy this amusement ride. Nonetheless, it is for sure that you will enjoy a wonderful sensation after gliding from 10 meters of height sitting on the boat. Invite your friends and relatives to play together to get more fun.
  • Bom Bom Boat
    This amusement ride is almost similar with Bumper Car but it is played on the water. For you, who are familiar to play Bumper Car, will find it easy to drive this Bom Bom Boat. Pushing with other boat will be much more enjoyable and more fun.
  • Bumper Car
    Hitting and pushing each other are the attractive side of this amusement ride. It will be much more fun in a big group. With a large area, you will get more satisfaction in driving the car while enjoying the nature view surrounded.
